Working Hard? Why Not Work Smart Instead!

Working hard is a good thing, alot of people will love you for that. But just has talent is not enough, working hard is not enough, you must work smart to be successful. You must work with lots and lots of Intelligence and Persistence.
One thing successful people know is working intelligently to achieve their goal. Never mind the praises you get, what you need to focus on is see if you are realizing and fulfilling your dreams.
You must be dedicated to your life aspirations and achieving them should be the number one thing in your mind. But note dedication and blind persistence are two very different things. You can work hard but not smart, and can be dedicated on the wrong things. When something’s not working, you have to change it. Some people just keep banging their heads against the wall, thinking they are doing the best thing but still nothing to show for it. This may be as a result of you working hard and not working smart. So if you have been working hard but nothing big seems to be popping up, try a new way of working intelligently instead of doggedly using the same ineffective tactics, super-achievers pivot and try to tackle the problem from a different angle.
Here are 2 Tips on working smart
1. Foster A Community
Great achievers and Star performers know they can’t achieve success on their own. Instead, they galvanize a group of people around their idea or goal. Teamwork, or having an ecosystem of supporters, turns out to be critically vital for success. It doesn’t just include partners and coworkers. It might also mean employees, customers, investors, mentors, fans and social media followers. If you want to get to the top you will need alot of people to be around you. Believe me you can't do it alone.
2. Listening And Remaining Open
I know people don’t normally think of successful, hard-charging, action-oriented leaders as being good listeners, but their ability to practice the art of listening helped them learn what they needed to know about the world around them.” For example, companies carry out surveys to listen and communicate with people to get the latest developments. These are method in which you can also use to better your life, consult and listen to people ideas about your area of focus and find the latest developments which can help you grow.
