How To Move Up The Ladder In Your Career


Moving up all the ranks in an organization is a desire for all employee. It's a dream for every worker in a company, but sometimes it never come true and you will keep wondering if you don't deserve it.
Most times this doesn't happen because you are not prepared, you are not ready for the next level. Believe me the height is competitive, you must be prepared, you must possess extraordinary qualities to get to even compete at the top level.
Before you can say you want to move up the ladder, you must be able to answer these 7 fundamental questions:
1. Do you have the required quality?
2. Are you capable and competent to handle situation in the next level?
3. Do you have the vision and desire for growth?
4. Are you creative, versatile, ideas-driven, passionate and able to adapt and improve on difficult situations?
5. Can you cope with the pressure and requirement at the top level?
6. Can you lead and does your leadership inspire others?
7. Are you dependable and someone people can look up to for motivation?
To get to the top in your endeavours you must be able to answer those 7 fundamental questions to growth.
To possess these capacities and capabilities to move up the ranks, here are few tips to help you grow and cultivate the attitude to succeed.
1. Learning and Continuous studies: For you to be a specialist in your feed and career path, you must continue learning. Read books relevant to your area of choice and be a source of dependable information for others. Create time to read and school yourself more, don't wait for someone to come teach you. The more understanding you have the more you can easily understand situations and be able to provide solutions. Read a little more to acquire more understanding of what you are. Make it mandatory to Learn something new every day! Visit a museum, Google random topics, watch an educational television program, or even really listen to lyrics of informative songs.
2. Spiritual growth: Growing physically require growing spiritually. If your presence will be felt physically, it must have been felt spiritually. Get closer to God and study the Holy Book, this is the only way to grow spiritually. Don't forget the spiritual control the physical.
3. Have vision and show determination: When you have vision and show determination, everyone around you will be moved to action and see the greatness and potentials you have got. Your level of commitment to smaller things will show how you will handle bigger and advance things and situations. Let everyone see the drive, the focus, the determinations and the strength in everything.
4. Form a network: Build an amazing network of people around you. People who are diverse and challenge the status quo. Most especially the friends you keep. If they are not challenging you, detach yourself from them.
5. Try your best; Always try your best in everything you do. Try to be honest and humble to yourself, family, colleagues, and clients! This will take you further in your career than you planned and moving up the ranks.
6. Find joy in Every moment: It’s the small and simple things in life that we should enjoy the most. Make every moment memorable.
7. Forget the past: Leave the past behind you. Get over it! The past has already occurred, and the present is in our grasp, and the future is really all that matters. No guilt trips.
8. Creative thinking: Begin a smart, fast and creative thinking, think differently. There are problems everywhere, find them and provide solutions. They are easy to find, and you will only find them if you change your thinking.
9. Depend less: The less dependent you are, the more influential you become.
10. Laugh Often: hard, long and most importantly, LOL (Laugh Out Loud)! There is humor in every mistake and opportunity.
11. Don’t let grass grow under your feet. Avoid shortcuts, no shortcut to success, there is only life-cut. Any shortcut will only cut your life short
12. Be negative Sometimes: You don't have to accept everything or every idea. Choose the best for yourself and Saying “No” isn’t a bad thing. No, simply means that you don’t agree on some level. Just be humble in expressing your view on the matter.
Remember that Life is 30% Imagination, 10% Performance and 60% Exposure.
